James Poulos grew up building forts in the woods outside of Atlanta, GA. An avid tinkerer and born problem solver, James went to school for art in Athens at the University of Georgia where he met Mike. After getting his MFA at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, James spent a few years working in Chicago making concrete countertops before settling in Atlanta where he has been doing metal fabrication for Smithworks Iron & Design for the last 15 years.

Mike Wsol grew up being inspired by the farmlands of rural Illinois and the urban architecture of the city of Chicago. He went to school for art at Eastern Illinois University and went on to get his MFA at the University of Georgia in Athens where he met James. After teaching sculpture for awhile at Indiana University, Mike went on to get a masters degree in architecture at the University of Virginia School of Architecture. He has served as an assistant professor of sculpture at Georgia State University and an art project manager for the city of Atlanta. You can see his art work here.
